WASHINGTON, D.C. -- This week, U.S. Rep. Mike Kelly (R-PA) celebrated his Summer 2023 interns who have been serving Pennsylvania's 16th Congressional District in Rep. Kelly's Washington, D.C. office. Interns include Butler County, Pa. natives, a former Youth Ambassador for Hyundai Hope on Wheels which Rep. Kelly remains an active supporter, and a student in the Washington-Ireland Program (WIP) who is joining as part of Rep. Kelly's role as Co-Chair of the Congressional Friends of Ireland Caucus.

Mike Kelly (R-PA), Chairman of the Ways & Means Committee's Subcommittee on Tax, chaired a hearing titled "Biden’s Global Tax Surrender Harms American Workers and Our Economy." The hearing addressed recent news that the United States stands to lose over $120 billion in tax revenues under the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development’s (OECD) global minimum tax, known as Pillar 2, what Rep. Kelly called a poorly negotiated by the Biden Administration.
