Agriculture is Pennsylvania’s number one industry and remains a main source of income for our state. Pennsylvania’s 16th Congressional District continues to provide a diverse range of commodities, including dairy, grains, vegetables, fruits, poultry, wineries, and the timber industry.

Rep. Kelly is committed to ensuring that our food supply remains the gold standard for safety, security, and quality while balancing the needs of Pennsylvanian farmers and producers to operate their businesses effectively. He greatly appreciates and understands the importance of family farms and is proud to be a voice and supporter in Congress.

The following is a list of bills Rep. Kelly has supported to support farmers across Pennsylvania’s 16th Congressional District:

· United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA): With the passage of USMCA Pennsylvania farmers stand to benefit significantly by increased agriculture exports. Western Pennsylvanians knew that NAFTA was a raw deal for our region, so Rep. Kelly was proud to vote in favor of USMCA, President Trump's new trade agreement with Canada and Mexico that puts our workers and farmers first.

· Nutritious Milk Options: Rep. Kelly is a proud supporter and cosponsor of H.R. 818, the GIVE MILK Act which would increase milk consumption in the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children by giving participants over the age of two the option of having two percent reduced fat milk and whole milk as part of their diet. The bill reverses an Obama Administration era rule limiting WIC participants to low-fat (one percent) or non-fat milk.

· Support for the FAA Organization: Rep. Kelly is an original cosponsor and supporter of H.Res. 150. This resolution expresses support for the designation of February 20 to February 27, 2021, as "National FFA Week", recognizing the important role of the National FFA (FFA) Organization in developing the next generation of leaders who will change the world, and celebrating 50 years of National FFA Alumni and Supporters.

Rep. Kelly has supported the following pieces of legislation:

· H.R. 2244, the Flexible Financing for Rural America Act

· H.R. 4680, the Fair Sugar Policy Act of 2021

· H.R. 5680, the SWEETER Act

· H.R.2820, the Growing Climate Solutions Act
