Congressional App Challenge

U.S. Rep. Mike Kelly invites middle and high school students to participate in the Congressional App Challenge (CAC), a program that allows young Americans to use their talents in computer science and coding skills by developing an app for mobile, tablet, or computer devices.
Congress created the CAC to foster and highlight STEM and computer-based skills in America, which faces a shortage of programmers. The program encourages students to learn the skills necessary to fill these well-paying, in-demand jobs, an investment that seeks to maintain U.S. competitiveness. The CAC encourages students to pursue those skills and recognize them for their efforts.
