Mike Kelly (R-PA) introduced a resolution to formally establish a task force charged with investigating the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump in Kelly's hometown of Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13. The shooting injured Mr. Trump, killed Corey Comperatore, of Sarver, Pa., and injured two other Pennsylvanians.

Mike Kelly (R-PA) introduced a resolution honoring the life of Corey Comperatore, who was killed during the rally and assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump Saturday, July 13 in Butler, Pa. Mr. Comperatore shielded his family from gunfire during the rally, ultimately saving their lives. He leaves behind his wife, Helen, and daughters Allyson and Kaylee. Mr. Comperatore was 50-years-old.
