MK   U.S. Secret Service   Preventing School Violence

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Today, U.S. Rep. Mike Kelly (R-PA) announced his annual School Safety Seminar will be held on Friday, October 14, 2022 at 10:00a.m. ET at Thiel College in Greenville, Pa.

Experts from the U.S. Secret Service and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Administration will be joining Rep. Kelly to help answer questions. The public is encouraged to attend.

Mike Kelly (R-PA) voted for the Improving Seniors’ Timely Access to Care Act (H.R. 3173), legislation that would make it easier for more than 2.7 million Pennsylvania seniors enrolled in Medicare, including the 1.2 million enrolled in Medicare Advantage, to get the care they need and improve health outcomes. The bill would modernize the antiquated prior authorization process in Medicare Advantage, which often still requires faxing documents to insurance companies.

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Today, U.S. Rep. Mike Kelly (R-PA) joined a bipartisan group of Congressional lawmakers at the White House during President Biden's signing of the PACT Act, which provides health benefits to veterans who were exposed to burn pits or other toxins while serving our country.

Kelly supported the bill as part of a 342-88 vote when the House advanced the bill in July.
