Yesterday morning, Rep. Kelly appeared on Fox & Friends to discuss the president’s recent comments that, “If you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.” Rep. Kelly, a small business owner, called the president’s comments “offensive.”

Washington, DC —U.S. Representative Mike Kelly (PA-03) voted today in support of the fiscal year 2013 Defense Appropriations bill, which provides $519.2 billion in regular funding and $88.5 billion for Overseas Contingency Operations (OCO) for defense activities related to the Global War on Terror. The bill passed the House with broad bipartisan support by a vote of 326 to 90. Rep.

Washington, DC —U.S. Representative Mike Kelly (PA-03) issued the following statement on his vote today in support of the National Strategic and Critical Minerals Production Act of 2012, which requires the U.S. Department of the Interior and the U.S. Department of Agriculture to more efficiently develop domestic sources of strategic and critical minerals and mineral materials.
