TOMORROW: Press Conference on Bill to Outlaw Gender and Race-Based Abortions

Washington, DC — Tomorrow, U.S. Representative Mike Kelly (PA-03) will participate in a press conference hosted by Congressman Trent Franks (AZ-02), chairman of the House Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee on the Constitution, officially introducing H.R. 3541, the Prenatal Non-Discrimination Act (or PreNDA). H.R. 3541, sponsored by Rep. Franks and cosponsored by Rep. Kelly, outlaws abortions on the basis of race and gender.

Note:

Currently, 70 percent of abortion clinics are in inner-city or minority neighborhoods, with nearly 1/2 of all black babies being aborted (meaning a black baby is five times more likely than a white baby to be aborted). Currently, the United States is the only developed nation without a ban on sex-selection abortions.
