Mike Thompson (D-CA) re-introduced the bipartisan Mental Health Research Accelerator Act to incentivize private companies with financial resources to collaborate with academic or nonprofit research institutions on neurological and mental health research to tackle the root causes of mental health conditions.

The event, titled "Make America Wealthy Again," was held in the Rose Garden to commemorate what President Trump has designated as "Liberation Day."

Chris Smith (R-NJ) announced the introduction of the Health Care Sharing Ministry Tax Parity Act. The legislation would allow American taxpayers who are members of the Health Care Sharing Ministries (HCSMs) to deduct payments made as part of their ministry membership in their taxes by classifying regular HCSM expenses as eligible medical care expenses.
