Rep. Kelly Issues Statement on Court Decision to Stop EPA Attacks on Coal
Washington, DC —U.S. Representative Mike Kelly (PA-03) issued the following statement on today’s ruling by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit to strike down the Environmental Protection Agency’s Cross-State Air Pollution Rule:
“Today’s decision affirms what people in coal country have known for years: the Obama Administration has been waging a war on coal ever since the president stepped into office.

Marking Day One of the HHS Mandate
Washington, D.C. –Representative Mike Kelly led a GOP Freshman Class press conference today marking day one of the controversial HHS mandate, which will require all non-exempt employers to provide health care coverage that includes abortion-inducing drugs or else pay a steep tax. For the millions of Americans who oppose this unconstitutional policy, August 1, 2012, will be known as the day religious freedom died.
“This is about three things: this is about jobs, this is about certainty, and this is about certain victory for our men and women in uniform.”

Yesterday morning, Rep. Kelly appeared on Fox & Friends to discuss the president’s recent comments that, “If you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.” Rep. Kelly, a small business owner, called the president’s comments “offensive.”
