April 15, 2020

Washington, D.C. - On April 14, the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) announced more than $10 billion in new grant funding for U.S. airports made available by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. U.S. Representative Mike Kelly issued this statement thanking the Trump Administration for allocating grants to several western Pennsylvania airports.

"Airports across western Pennsylvania are our access to the skies," said Kelly. "Right now, they need help to get through the temporary slowdown as a result of COVID-19.  Thank you to the Trump Administration and the FAA for supporting our aviators, future travelers, and rich aviation history with these CARES Act grants."
