Rep. Kelly sworn in for 7th term in U.S. House of Representatives

January 7, 2023

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Today, U.S. Rep. Mike Kelly (R-PA) was sworn in for his seventh term in the U.S. House of Representatives during a ceremony at the U.S. Capitol. The 118th Congress officially began on Tuesday.

In November, Rep. Kelly won re-election in earning 59.4% of the vote.

"I'm honored to return to Washington and get back to work for the people of the 16th Congressional District," Kelly said. "In November, the American people made it clear: they opposed the Democrats' one-party rule and they want a true check and balance in Washington. With a Republican majority in the U.S. House of Representatives, we can now begin the real work of securing the border, lowering inflation, and making America energy independent once again."
