Rep. Kelly to Host Tele-Town Hall for Constituents w/IRS Expert on Filing Taxes
WASHINGTON, DC — U.S. Representative Mike Kelly (PA-03) – a member of the House Ways and Means Committee – will host a special toll-free telephone town hall meeting on Tuesday, February 18, 2014, for constituents to communicate with a liaison from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) on the basics of filing individual income taxes.

“Tax season is here once again and I know full well how confusing filing incomes taxes can be. Next week’s tele-town hall meeting is designed to help constituents throughout the Third District learn the basics of filing a tax return in the easiest and most efficient way possible. Callers will be able to submit questions and get answers straight from an actual tax expert at the IRS.
“Whether it’s assisting my constituents with getting answers from a federal agency or fighting for a fairer, less costly tax code to grow new jobs, my job begins and ends with the people of Western Pennsylvania. This tele-town hall meeting is just the latest way that my staff and I are proud and honored to serve them.”
