Kelly statement on new record-breaking inflation report

June 10, 2022

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Today, after the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported inflation rose to 8.6% in May, reaching a new 41-year high, U.S. Rep. Mike Kelly (R-PA) issued the following statement.

"From groceries to gasoline, inflation is accelerating under the Biden administration's watch," Kelly said. "I fear the administration does not have a plan to help hardworking Americans anytime soon. Friday's numbers indicate one thing: Americans are spending more and earning less."
