U.S. Small Business Administration Offering Low-Interest Loans to Repair Damage from Halloween Storms

Dec 12, 2019

Washington, D.C. - On Wednesday, the United States Small Business Administration (SBA) issued an Administrative declaration of disaster for Erie, Crawford, and Warren Counties.

The declaration is in response to the devastating storms that hit western Pennsylvania on October 31 and November 1. Local businesses, homeowners, and others who incurred property damage that is not covered by insurance are now eligible to apply for low-interest loans to fill gaps in financing. Representative Kelly issued the following statement to thank SBA and offer his help navigating the application process:

"Thank you to SBA and the Trump Administration for responding to our region's request for aid following the devastating Halloween storms. For those looking for help recovering from these storms, the SBA loans are a great option. If you need assistance figuring out how to take advantage of this offer, give our Erie office a call at 814-454-8190. My staff and I are ready and willing to help."
