Representative Mike Kelly Votes in Support of the JOBS Act
Washington, D.C. — U.S. Representative Mike Kelly (PA-03) issued the following statement on today’s passage of the bipartisan JOBS Act, which will be sent to President Obama tomorrow for his signature:
“If we are going to grow our economy and get Americans back to work, we need to get government out of the way. The JOBS Act removes onerous federal regulations that limit America’s small businesses, startups and entrepreneurs from getting the capital they need to invest in their companies and grow and create jobs. Tomorrow the president has the opportunity to join the House and Senate in this all-too-rare moment in Washington when politics and class warfare rhetoric are set aside and smart, commonsense, pro-growth solutions are put forward in the best interest of all Americans. I hope he joins us in standing up for, and out of the way of, America’s small businesses so they can do what they do best: create the jobs we so desperately need.”
