Representative Mike Kelly Congratulates the Times Publishing Company on its Partnership with Eagle Printing Company

Washington, D.C. — U.S. Representative Mike Kelly (PA-03) issued the following statement on the Times Publishing Company’s announcement this week that it has selected Eagle Printing Company, publisher of the Butler Eagle in Butler, Pa., as its preferred vendor to provide printing and packaging services for the Erie Times-News:

“As a small business owner/operator, I can appreciate the many challenges faced by the business community during these difficult financial times. I commend the Mead family and Rosanne Cheeseman for rising to the challenge and doing what needed to be done to preserve the Erie Times-News and continue the paper’s nearly 125-year record of service to the community.

“This new partnership with Eagle Printing Company, another great Northwestern Pennsylvania family-run business, will continue the tradition of quality and excellence that both the Mead and Wise families have always upheld. This is a story of two great American publishers working together to keep our local newspapers alive and our communities connected to the issues and events that matter most.”
