Rep. Mike Kelly honors Corey Comperatore on the U.S. House floor

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- On Monday evening, U.S. Rep. Mike Kelly (R-PA) honored the life of Corey Comperatore during a speech with other members of the Pennsylvania Congressional delegation on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives.

Mr. Comperatore, of Butler County, Pa., was killed during the assassination attempt of former President Donald Trump. Rep. Kelly was joined by a bipartisan group of Pennsylvania members in the House of Representatives for the speech as well.

Kelly, who was just feet away from President Trump during the July 13 assassination attempt, resides in and also represents Butler, Pennsylvania in the U.S. House of Representatives. The speech comes the same day Rep. Kelly introduced a resolution honoring the life of Mr. Comperatore.
