Rep. Mike Kelly to hold telephone town hall for military veterans and families

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- On Tuesday, July 9, U.S. Rep. Mike Kelly (R-PA) will hold a telephone town hall meeting regarding important benefits and issues for military veterans, active-duty service members, and their families. Experts from the Department of Veteran Affairs along with Veteran Service Officers from counties throughout Pennsylvania's 16th Congressional District are among the guests who are scheduled to join the call to answer questions. During the call, participants can learn more about important benefits and issues for veterans, service members, and their families.
"The men and women who serve in our Armed Forces have sacrificed so much for our great country. This town hall will provide them with more information to make sure they receive the benefits and assistance they have earned," Rep. Kelly said.
According to U.S. Census data, nearly 1-in-17 residents in Pennsylvania's 16th Congressional District is a military veteran.
