Rep. Kelly Honored with ‘Guardian of Small Business’ Award

WASHINGTON, DC — U.S. Representative Mike Kelly (PA-03) issued following statement today after receiving the Guardian of Small Business Award from the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) for his strong voting record in support of small business in the 113th Congress.

As a small business owner myself, I know full well how much these enterprises contribute to their surrounding communities in terms of widespread employment and economic activity.  It is incredibly important for elected leaders to recognize the unparalleled economic power provided by small businesses and ensure that they are able to prosper and create opportunity without the burden of overbearing taxation and regulation.
