Rep. Kelly: Congressional Art Challenge is now underway

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Today, U.S. Rep. Mike Kelly (R-PA) announced his offices are accepting artwork for the annual Congressional Art Challenge. Sponsored by the Congressional Institute, the competition highlights the talents of local high school students.
Rep. Kelly will honor one high school student from Pennsylvania’s 16th Congressional District (PA-16) by selecting a piece of artwork for inclusion in an exhibit at the U.S. Capitol. He has proudly honored one student every year since becoming a Member of Congress.
Artwork must be framed according to rules and regulations and must be delivered to one of the district offices by May 2nd at close of business.
Rep. Kelly's staff encourages school officials to call prior to drop off to ensure staff is available to complete the exchange. Artwork will be displayed at an in-person gallery on May 14th at the Sans MOCO Gallery & Studio in Greenville, Pa. from 10:00a – 12:00p for parents and students to view the submissions and announce the winner.
