First vetoed legislation to be enacted of Obama’s presidency

WASHINGTON — U.S. Representative Mike Kelly (R-PA) released a video statement today after both the U.S. Senate and the House of Representatives overwhelmingly voted to override President Obama’s veto of S. 2040, the Justice Against Sponsors of Terrorism Act, which will allow the families of American victims of terrorist attacks to sue foreign states that aid and abet acts of terror that occur on U.S. soil.
