Kelly supports short-term funding measure to keep government open, provide disaster relief, support farmers

December 20, 2024

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Today, U.S. Rep. Mike Kelly (R-PA) supported the continuing resolution, which funds the federal government into March 2025, provides more than $100 billion in disaster relief aid and aid for farmers, and extends Farm Bill provisions.

"Congress has a responsibility to keep government's lights on and its doors open for the American people, and that's what this legislation does," Rep. Kelly said. "This legislation also allows us to take care of the Americans who are still recovering from Hurricane Helene and other tragic natural disasters. This funding is critical, especially during the Christmas season. I look forward to working with President Trump in 2025 to make America great again -- again!"
