Washington, D.C. — U.S. Representative Mike Kelly (PA-03) issued the following statement on the attacks on the U.S. Consulate in Libya and the U.S. Embassy in Egypt:
“I want to extend my sincere condolences to the families and friends of U.S. Ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens, Foreign Service Information Management Officer Sean Smith, and the two other victims of this heinous attack who have yet to be identified. The senseless and unjustified attack on these innocent Americans was an attack on freedom loving people everywhere, and I strongly condemn this extreme act of intolerance and any efforts to diminish or defend it.”
