Introduces bipartisan resolution, delivers tribute on House floor
WASHINGTON — On March 4, 2015, U.S. Representative Mike Kelly (R-PA) joined Rep. Jackie Walorski (R-IN) and Sens. Joe Donnelly (D-IN) and Dan Coats (R-IN) in introducing a concurrent resolution to honor the life of Father Theodore Hesburgh, president of the University of Notre Dame from 1952 to 1987, who passed away on February 26, 2015. Rep. Kelly – a member of the Notre Dame Class of 1970 – also honored Fr. Hesburgh with a speech on the floor of the House of Representatives.
