WASHINGTON — U.S. Representative Mike Kelly (R-PA) issued the following statement today after the House of Representatives passed the Department of Defense Appropriations Bill for Fiscal Year 2015 by a bipartisan vote of 340-73. The bill included language requested by Rep. Kelly to prohibit any funding by the Department of Defense for the implementation of the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty (ATT).

WASHINGTON — Representative Mike Kelly (R-PA) introduced an amendment last night to H.R. 1960, the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2014 (NDAA), to prohibit federal funding for the implementation of the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) for one year. The amendment was adopted unanimously by the House of Representatives by a voice vote and included in the final passage of the NDAA, which Rep. Kelly voted to support.

WASHINGTON — U.S. Representative Mike Kelly (R-PA) issued the following statement today in support of H.R. 38, the Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act of 2017, which would allow law-abiding citizens with a state-issued concealed carry license or permit to carry a handgun in any other state that also has concealed carry laws as long as the individual follows the laws of that state.
